I watched this documentary the other night. Absolutely fascinating, Its about online virtual game worlds that millions of people are addicted to worldwide, such as World of Warcraft and Second Life.
I've concluded that I really do pity these people, They're just living in the hands of the game creators who are milking their money, time and souls.
The show was also about how the game creators have this ideal that they can create a perfect world, a utopia that has none of the flaws of the real one and therefore people will be happier to exist in a virtual world. I've concluded that this is impossible. Human Beings are not, and never will be perfect and so the games will always have flaws because they've been made by humans.
I think they all just need to have a pint down the pub with some 'real' mates.
