I bought this book a couple of months ago. Its about designers and the hidden art of their sketchbooks. Its interesting as these are not normally seen, I suppose because It's often only the finished article thats shown, but really I think the exciting stuff happens in the build up. I personally like to keep them because they allow me to do whatever I want without pressure to show it to anyone or conform to a brief and you can take them anywhere. Funnily enough however most of my ideas for briefs come from scribbles in a sketchbook. This is a great book, beautifully designed and good text: image ratio. There is some mouth watering stuff here and its only 13 quid.
